Josie's
About Us
Josie was born and raised in Wiarton. Went off to University of Waterloo, and received a degree in Environmental Studies, Geography major. (not what you need to run a dress shop)
Upon graduating she moved back to Wiarton and married Kent Myles.
After a number of part time jobs, including a waitress and substitute teacher, in 1994 Josie was fortunate enough to get her dream job of owning her own clothing store. Making her the fourth generation in her family to have a business on the main street of Wiarton.
In 1999 Josie and her husband Kent bought the building they had previously rented. They did extensive renovations to the inside, but were able to keep the historic feel with the tin ceilings and hardwood floors.
